My account provides a complete overview of your account settings.

My account provides a complete overview of your account and allows you to edit basic settings. You will see the status of your account, its type, the number of emails you have sent, contact and billing information for your company.
Keep your contact information up to date. If necessary send your change of billing contact requests by email to helpdesk@mailkit.com.

Manage email addresses

The email addresses from which the campaigns will be sent are added here. The email address can only be assigned to a campaign after it has been verified and the SPF records, DKIM and DMARC are set correctly on the domain.

The new shipping address will be created by clicking on the Add Address button and entering the email address to be verified and the name of the sender to be used in the text box. A verification email will be sent to that address, which will contain a link to verify that address. The email address will only be verified after clicking this link. If necessary, you can send the verification email again by clicking Send verification email.

The email campaign will only be able to be sent from that address after it has properly set the SPF, DKIM, and DMARC.

TIP: You can also insert custom field tags in the sender's name box to dynamically replace the sender's name. E.g. if you enter an individual business shortcut name in Custom Field 2 in the recipient lists, you can insert a tag: [CUSTOM2] in the sender's name and the sender's message will have a personalized sender name. 

User accounts

Each Mailkit user must have his / her own user access. The new user is added by clicking Add user. When setting up, it is necessary to fill in the username, full name of the user, his / her email address (to send a forgotten password), the phone number (for 2-step login authentication), the password and the user authorization level.

In the case of the Agency version, users who have access to the entire account - that is, all agency clients - are created here. Individual approaches to specific agency clients are based on the client profile. Agency clients are always logged into the individual address of the agency interface.

User Management allows you to create an unlimited number of users and assign them 4 different levels of user permissions:

Administrator

The Administrator of the Agency/Corporate/Government accounts has full access to all modules and settings. The user who establishes the Mailkit account automatically becomes an administrator. If necessary, this feature can be assigned to multiple users.

Editor

Editor can manage campaigns, templates, recipient lists and access to reports. Can not schedule and submit a campaign. It can only send a test report. Has no access to basic account settings.

Editor

Redaktor může spravovat kampaně, šablony, seznamy příjemců a má přístup k reportům. Může naplánovat a odeslat kampaň. Nemá přístup k základnímu nastavení účtu.

Reporter

The reporter only has access to campaign reports. For example, this type of user is suitable for marketing and sales staff.

Allowed IP addresses

In order to ensure only users who are supposed to sign in actualy sign in to your account, it is possible to set each user to sign in from specified IP addresses only. Enabling IP addresses for user accounts is only possible by a user with administrator rights.
For each user, you can click on the IP icon and enter a specific IP address or entire subnet. Permission for the entire subnet is entered as IP / mask, eg 77.78.106.128/26. If you are not sure whether to write an IP address or the entire subnet, use http://www.subnet-calculator.com/ for review.

Adjustment settings

In the customization settings, you can insert the logo and adjust the notification settings.
The embedded logo will appear on all system pages in the default appearance (logout, login, etc.). The recommended dimensions for the logged-in logo are 380x120 px.

Info e-mail - this is the address on whose behalf there will be general communication of your account and where possible notifications of the beneficiaries will be sent. From this address, for example, emails will be sent to confirm the sign-up to the recipient list or the de-signer to the opt-out recipient.

Send the recipient's email notification notification - If you want to receive an email every time one of your recipients logs out, leave this option checked.

Send a confirmation email to the recipient - If you wish to send a check-out to a recipient who has signed out of the confirmation that it was logged out, leave this option checked.

Transaction history

In this section, you'll see a brief overview of your current transactions (sent campaigns) in your account. A complete report will of course give you detailed reports.

Client/Department list *Agency accounts only

011pridatklienta.PNGIn the case of managing agency account, this is where you add your clients or departments and set up their accounts. The new agency client is created via the Add Client button.
As the client's name, fill in the real name of the entity, eg Company XYZ Ltd. (in the case of separate accounts of the same entities, eg XYZ Ltd. - CZ and XYZ Ltd. - SK). This name will be shown, for example, in the system pages (logon page), so it is visible. The label is then purely for your orientation.

Once you have established an agency client, you will be able to switch to the roulette bar located in the left menu. To set up a client account, proceed to the Profile / Client Summary menu, where you will find the send addresses, users, customization settings, and subdomain settings for outgoing messages.

Setting up the Agency Interface

If you're an agency, you can only give your clients access to their own campaigns, lists, and reports. In the Agency Interface Settings, you set how this approach will look and where it will be located.004agenturni-rozhrani.PNG

Agency URL: The address where the clients of the Agency client will log on to the system. The address must always be set up along with Mailkit support.​​​​​​​
Welcome image URL: The location where the image is located, which will be displayed on the sign-in page of the agency interface.​​​​​​​
CSS URL: The address where a set of custom CSS styles for the agency interface is located.​​​​​​​
Favicon URL: The location where the favicon file is located.​​​​​​​
Logo URL: Here you upload your agency logo (480x120px). This logo will appear in the application instead of the Mailkit logo.
